A Brand Manager is responsible for building and maintaining a strong brand, overseeing its image and reputation, and developing its market position. Depending on the nature of the industry they operate in and the size of the organization they serve, Brand Managers are accountable for a variety of tasks. For instance, they may be in charge of the company’s marketing strategy and media planning, analyzing and tracking brand performance, building brand awareness, and overseeing all communications channels. Most Brand Managers hold an undergraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
