Cancelling Your Subscription
So, what happens when you cancel your Rezi subscription? First, don’t worry about your account disappearing; you won’t lose everything you’ve worked on. Instead, your subscription will switch back to the Free Plan, which has a few limits compared to the Pro Plan.
Once you downgrade, you’ll only have access to one resume, while any extra resumes and Pro features will be unavailable until you subscribe again.
Here’s a quick recap of what the Free Plan includes:
- Resume Builder: Create and store one resume.
- Advanced features: Limited access to Rezi Score, AI Keyword Targeting, and Real-Time Content Analysis.
- AI writing tools: AI Resume Writer, AI Resume Editor, and AI Resume Summary Writer.
- AI Interview: One interview.
- Resume Review: Available as a paid add-on starting from $8.
- Downloads: Three PDF downloads.
- Templates: Rezi Standard Format.
If you’re only taking a break from your job search, downgrading is a good way to keep your account without paying for features you aren’t using right now. Then, if you decide you need the extra tools again later, you can always upgrade your subscription.

Your account will stay active, but you’ll only keep one resume, while the rest become inaccessible unless you subscribe again.

And between you and me: before you cancel, Rezi may show you a limited-time retention offer. For example, some users receive a discount like 30% off for life. There’s no guarantee you’ll see it, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for if you’re still on the fence.
