Magic Link Sign-In Method

Looking for a way to change your password? Well, you don’t need one anymore. Rezi has replaced traditional passwords with the magic link sign-in method, which lets you access your account without creating, remembering, or updating a password.

When you want to sign in, Rezi sends a unique link to your email address. All you need to do is open the email, click the link, and you’ll sign in automatically. That’s it — no password required.

Why the switch-up? It simply makes signing in both easier and more secure. Instead of trying to remember complex passwords, you just need to check your email. As long as you can access your inbox, you can access your Rezi account.

Some of the biggest benefits of the magic link method include:

  • No passwords to remember, reset, or update
  • Faster and more convenient sign-ins
  • Better protection against common password-related attacks
  • No password database that attackers can target or steal

Since Rezi doesn’t store a password for your account, there’s no password for someone to guess or steal. An attacker would need access to your email account to sign in, which adds another layer of protection compared to traditional password-based logins.

How to Sign In With the Magic Link

Here’s the speedy version of how to use the magic link sign-in method:

  • Go to the Rezi login page by clicking Log In, then either continue with Google for instant access or enter your email address to receive a magic link.
  • Check your email for your magic link, then click Log In Automatically or open the link manually. Remember that the link expires after 15 minutes.
  • Explore Rezi’s features once you’re signed in, including AI-powered tools like the AI Bullet Point Writer, Rezi Score, and AI Keyword Targeting to help you build a stronger, ATS-friendly resume.

Let’s get into the details.

1. Go to the Rezi login page

Start by visiting the Rezi homepage and clicking Log In. You’ll arrive at the sign-in page, where you can either continue with your Google account or enter your email address.

If you sign in with Google, Rezi will take you directly to your dashboard. If you enter your email address, Rezi will send a magic link to your inbox and display a confirmation message letting you know the email is on its way.

2. Check your email

Your magic link email should arrive within about a minute. Once you open it, you have two ways to sign in:

  • Click Log In Automatically to open a new browser tab and access your account instantly.
  • Copy and paste the magic link into your browser’s address bar if you prefer to open it manually.

Keep in mind that each magic link expires after 15 minutes for security reasons. If your link expires before you use it, just repeat the sign-in process to receive a new one.

Since your email is the key to more than just Rezi, it’s worth giving it a little extra protection. Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) for an added layer of security, use a strong and unique password, and keep an eye out for phishing emails that ask you to click suspicious links.

3. Explore Rezi’s features

Once you’re signed in, you’re ready to create a resume and take advantage of Rezi’s AI-powered tools. Some of our most popular features include:

Summary

Here’s an overview of everything you need to know about the magic link sign-in method:

  • Rezi no longer uses passwords. Instead, it uses a passwordless sign-in system called a magic link, so you don’t need to create, remember, or change a password.
  • To sign in, enter your email address on the Rezi login page. Rezi will send a unique, one-time login link to the email associated with your account.
  • Open the email and click the magic link to sign in automatically. If needed, you can also copy and paste the link into your browser’s address bar.
  • Each magic link expires after 15 minutes. If the link expires before you use it, simply request a new one from the login page.
  • This method improves security by eliminating common password-related threats, like stolen password databases. Since Rezi doesn’t store passwords, there’s no password to steal.
  • Keep your email account secure. Because your email serves as your authentication method, using a strong email password and enabling two-factor authentication (2FA) helps protect your Rezi account.

FAQ

How do you change your password in Rezi?

You can’t change your password because Rezi no longer uses passwords. Instead, Rezi uses a magic link sign-in method, which lets you access your account through a secure link sent to your email. Since there isn’t a password to manage, you never have to worry about creating, remembering, or updating one.

Is the magic link sign-in method secure?

Yes. In fact, it’s more secure than traditional password-based logins in many ways. Because Rezi doesn’t use passwords, it eliminates common security risks like stolen passwords, credential stuffing, brute-force attacks, and password database breaches. Instead, your identity is verified through your email account, so keeping your email secure is the most important step you can take.

What should you do if you don’t receive the magic link email?

If your magic link doesn’t arrive within a minute or two, try these quick troubleshooting steps:

  • Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address.
  • Wait a few minutes and request a new magic link if needed.
  • If you still don’t receive the email, head to Contact Support for assistance.

What should you do if you no longer have access to your email account?

Since your email account is how Rezi verifies your identity, you’ll need to regain access to that email address before you can sign in. If you can’t recover your email account, reach out to Rezi Support or create a new account with a new email address.

Do you need to request a new magic link every time you sign in?

Usually, yes. Each magic link is unique and expires after a short period, so you’ll typically request a new one whenever you sign in. That said, if you’ve recently signed in on the same device and browser, Rezi may recognize your session and log you in automatically without sending another magic link.
