We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Rezi. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, accounting and auditing activities. The successful candidate will have a broad understanding of financial reporting, accounting and auditing principles and practices, as well as strong managerial, organizational and problem-solving skills. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate and timely financial records, analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports and conducting audits. The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field and 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management. Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis is strongly preferred.
• As an Accounting Manager at Rezi, responsible for leading the day-to-day accounting operations, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, payroll and financial reporting
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements and records in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies
• Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, prepare periodic financial and accounting reports for management
• Direct monthly and year-end close process, prepare monthly journal entries, reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
• Lead the development and implementation of internal control policies, procedures and processes
• Manage internal and external audits, ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX and other regulatory requirements
• Manage payroll and benefits, prepare and analyze cash flow projections, develop and monitor internal controls over financial reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of accounting experience required.
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and QuickBooks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial statements, and internal control procedures.
• Ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
• Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships.
