We are looking for a talented Automotive Engineer to join our team at Rezi. The individual will be responsible for designing and developing automotive systems and components. We are looking for a candidate that is highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills. The successful applicant must have a strong understanding of CAD, ISO, and MATLAB and be comfortable working with computer-aided design technologies. The Automotive Engineer will be responsible for developing and testing automotive components, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and coordinating with other departments to ensure the successful completion of projects. The Automotive Engineer will also have to adhere to safety standards and industry regulations. Ultimately, the Automotive Engineer will ensure that all automotive systems and components meet customer requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• As an Automotive Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing and analyzing vehicle components and systems to ensure compliance with design specifications

• Design components, systems, and subsystems for automotive vehicles, such as powertrain, chassis, and body systems

• Utilize computer-aided engineering (CAE) and computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) technology to design components and systems and analyze performance

• Develop test plans and procedures to ensure that components and systems are designed to meet customer requirements

• Conduct tests and experiments to ensure that components and systems meet design specifications

• Evaluate existing components and systems, and recommend modifications to improve performance and reliability

• Research, analyze, and recommend components and systems to improve vehicle performance

• Develop design specifications and standards, and ensure that designs meet safety and environmental regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering or related field.

• Strong knowledge of automotive design, development and testing processes.

• Experience in developing concepts, prototypes and production parts for vehicles.

• Knowledge of automotive systems and components, including engine, transmission, electrical, fuel, brakes, and suspension.

• Expertise in CAD design, FEA analysis and other computer-aided engineering techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret automotive technical drawings and schematics.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Design and develop automotive systems, components and subsystems using CAD and simulation tools

• Perform system integration tests and vehicle level tests to validate automotive system performance

• Develop and maintain system requirements, test plans and reports

• Develop and maintain system architecture documents and technical specifications

• Create and maintain automotive system models and simulations

• Participate in design reviews, analyze customer requirements and develop system solutions

• Identify and troubleshoot automotive system issues and provide solutions to improve system performance

• Work with suppliers and partners to develop and evaluate automotive systems components and subsystems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in automotive engineering and design.

• Proficient in CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or Solidworks.

• Knowledge of Automotive Design Processes (ADP), including engineering design, modeling, and analysis.

• Knowledge of automotive component design, manufacturing processes, and quality assurance standards.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems.

• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop efficient designs.

• Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations.
