Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Biomedical Engineer to join our fast-paced team at Rezi. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of medical devices, with a focus on the design, development and evaluation of medical devices in order to meet FDA regulations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with biomedical equipment, including knowledge of the design and development process. The successful candidate should also have expertise in analyzing and developing medical devices, and regulatory knowledge related to product marketing and safety standards. Ultimately, you will ensure our medical devices are in alignment with FDA regulations and are safe and effective for our customers.

Responsibilities

• As a Biomedical Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing, testing and evaluating systems and products such as medical devices, prosthetics, artificial organs, imaging equipment, and health management and care delivery systems

• Design and develop medical devices and systems that are safe, efficient and effective in diagnosis, monitoring and treatment of injuries, diseases and disabilities

• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, biomedical scientists and other engineers to develop medical equipment and procedures

• Conduct research to develop and improve medical products, equipment and procedures

• Create prototypes, test and evaluate them for accuracy, reliability and safety

• Analyze test results and modify designs to improve the performance of medical systems

• Oversee the manufacturing, installation and maintenance of medical systems and equipment

• Develop user manuals, provide training and instruction on the use of medical equipment and systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biomedical engineering or a related field.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the biomedical engineering field.

• Demonstrated experience with medical device design and development, device testing, and product validation.

• Hands-on experience in design and development of medical instrumentation, including software/hardware integration, electrical systems, and software programming.

• Ability to troubleshoot and identify problems in product design and performance.

• Experience with creating and modifying technical documents and drawings related to medical device design and development.

• Ability to interpret and create schematics and diagrams for device assembly and operation.

• Knowledge of medical device regulations, standards, and guidelines.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The Biomedical Engineer will play a key role in developing, testing and implementing medical devices, medical equipment and software. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of medical device design, FDA regulations, and biomedical equipment.The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing medical devices, conducting testing and validation of medical devices, and troubleshooting existing medical systems. Additionally, the Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for writing technical reports and updating the engineering documentations.To be successful in this role, the Biomedical Engineer will have knowledge of biomedical engineering principles, medical device design, and FDA regulations, as well as experience with medical software and hardware. The successful candidate will also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Develop and evaluate medical devices and systems to treat diseases, respond to medical emergencies, and improve patient care

• Design, develop, and evaluate systems and products such as artificial internal organs, replacements for body parts, and machines for diagnosing medical problems

• Test and evaluate the safety and effectiveness of medical devices and systems

• Develop software and algorithms for use in medical devices and diagnostic equipment

• Analyze medical data to identify trends and develop solutions to improve patient care

• Research, design, and develop new medical processes, products, and technologies

• Create plans and protocols for product development, testing, and evaluation

• Develop and implement quality assurance procedures and standards for medical devices

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in biomedical engineering or related field.

• Knowledge and expertise in mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, physiology and engineering principles.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of medical devices, instrumentation, and systems.

• Ability to design, analyze, and execute experiments according to established protocols.

• Proven experience developing, validating, and troubleshooting medical devices.

• Ability to investigate and solve complex problems in a timely manner.

• Proficient in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software.
