We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team at Rezi. As a Bookkeeper, you will handle all accounting tasks including invoicing, accounts payable and data entry for both internal and external customers. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping and financial reporting. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience with bookkeeping, invoicing and data entry. Additionally, you should be familiar with accounts payable, budgeting and financial reporting. Ultimately, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• As a bookkeeper at Rezi, responsible for managing the company’s financial transactions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts to ensure financial accuracy and integrity
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and other financial documents
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management
• Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
• Analyze and prepare budget variance reports
• Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
• Maintain and review general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries
• Assist with year-end audits and tax returns
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping and general accounting
• Expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Proficiency with bookkeeping software, including QuickBooks and Xero
• Advanced understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax filing procedures

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
• Prepare and file tax returns and coordinate with auditors during the audit process
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience.
