We are seeking an experienced Chemical Engineer to join our team at Rezi. Our ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual with a strong background in chemistry and chemical process engineering. The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the development of new chemical products and processes, as well as the optimization of existing ones.The role will require the Chemical Engineer to develop and implement cost-effective solutions to improve production processes, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Additionally, they will be responsible for developing and executing analytical protocols, conducting experiments, and recording data.The ideal candidate must have a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills. They must also have a good understanding of chemical processes and the associated safety regulations. Knowledge of industry-standard software tools, such as MATLAB, LabVIEW and AutoCAD, is also desirable.

Responsibilities

• As a Chemical Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing and improving sustainable processes to produce products and materials used in the production of goods

• Design, construct, and optimize manufacturing processes to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards

• Analyze and troubleshoot existing processes and develop new processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste

• Research and develop new products and materials with enhanced performance, cost, and environmental impact

• Monitor and adjust production processes to ensure optimal performance and minimize waste

• Perform tests to analyze product and process data and adjust process parameters to optimize results

• Develop and implement process control systems to ensure consistent quality of products

• Develop safety protocols and procedures to ensure safety of personnel and equipment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent)

• 5+ years of experience in the chemical engineering field

• In-depth knowledge of chemical engineering fundamentals and principles

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with mass transfer and reaction engineering

• Knowledge of chemical process equipment and operations

• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage time effectively

• Proven experience in process design and scale up

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in computer-aided engineering tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, CHEMCAD)

• As a Chemical Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing and optimizing processes for the production of chemicals and materials

• Design, develop, and implement processes for the manufacture of chemicals and materials to ensure safety, quality and cost effectiveness

• Develop cost estimates and financial plans for new projects and process optimization

• Troubleshoot and optimize existing processes in order to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs

• Develop and conduct experiments to test new processes and optimize existing ones

• Analyze data and interpret results to identify process improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience

• Advanced knowledge of chemical processes, and experience with process optimization and troubleshooting

• Knowledge and experience with process control systems, and process safety systems

• Ability to use software packages for process modeling, simulation, and data analysis

• Knowledge of chemical engineering principles and techniques, such as thermodynamics, reaction kinetics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, mass transfer, and unit operations

• Ability to interpret, troubleshoot, and implement process control strategies

• Experience with design and operation of pilot-scale processes and plant-scale processes

• Experience in developing process-scale experiments and evaluating data to identify and solve process problems

• Ability to develop, modify, and implement process safety management systems and programs
