Description
We are looking for an experienced and creative Chemist Engineer to join our growing team at Rezi. The successful candidate will research and develop process engineering processes, analyze and improve existing chemistry processes, and develop detailed project plans. The Chemist Engineer will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining all chemical processes and ensuring that they are performed safely and according to applicable regulations.To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Chemistry or a related field, as well as experience in process engineering and project management. You should also have an in-depth understanding of chemistry and the ability to work with a variety of materials. Furthermore, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Ultimately, you will ensure our process engineering processes are up to standard and provide efficient solutions.
Responsibilities
• As a Chemist Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing new chemical processes and products, optimizing existing processes, and troubleshooting process issues
• Developing and testing new materials, methods, and processes to improve the performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of products
• Designing experiments, analyzing data, and creating reports to document results and support decision making
• Performing lab work, such as measuring and analyzing material properties and conducting laboratory experiments
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency
• Developing process models and simulations to enable process optimization and troubleshooting
• Evaluating and selecting chemicals, materials, and equipment for use in products and processes
• Ensuring conformance with environmental regulations and safety standards
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in chemical engineering or a related field
• Experience with formulation, scale-up and process optimization of chemical processes
• Experience in chemical process design, operations, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in process safety and hazard assessment
• Ability to design and develop experiments to test chemical processes
• Knowledge of quality assurance procedures and regulatory standards
• Knowledge of chemical engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of reaction engineering, thermodynamics, and kinetics
• Knowledge of chemical process equipment and materials
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a chemistry-related engineering role
• Demonstrated experience in the development of chemical processes or products
• Knowledge of chemical engineering principles, theories, and concepts
• Hands-on experience in the use of laboratory or industrial chemical processes or products
• Proficiency in the use of laboratory or industrial safety guidelines
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents
• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in the use of computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and other engineering software
