Description

We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join our team and assist in the design and management of civil engineering projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for developing designs, plans and cost estimates for a wide variety of civil engineering projects. You will also be expected to manage the construction of projects, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. To be successful in this role, you should have expertise in construction management, AutoCAD and contract management. You should also have excellent problem-solving skills, as you will be expected to find solutions to complex engineering problems. Ultimately, you will ensure that all civil engineering projects are completed to the highest possible standards.

Responsibilities

• As a Civil Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing and managing the construction of major civil engineering works, such as roads, bridges, dams, and other structures

• Lead the design, development, and construction of large-scale civil engineering projects

• Establish project specifications, requirements, and cost estimates

• Monitor construction progress and analyze data to ensure compliance with project plans, regulations, and safety standards

• Conduct field surveys, inspections, and testing to ensure project requirements are met

• Prepare project reports and documentation, including drawings, plans, and blueprints

• Develop cost estimates, budgets, and schedules for civil engineering projects

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure project success

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management

• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards related to civil engineering

• Experience in surveying, soil testing and analysis, road design, drainage, storm water management, and other civil engineering disciplines

• Ability to interpret plans and technical drawings

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other design software

• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks

• As a Civil Engineer at Rezi, responsible for providing engineering services related to the design and construction of civil engineering projects

• Design and manage the construction of water supply systems, sewer systems, roads and bridges, and other civil engineering projects

• Analyze survey reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photography, and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects

• Plan and design transportation or hydraulic systems and structures, following construction and government standards, using design software and drawing tools

• Compute load and grade requirements, water flow rates, and material stress factors to determine design specifications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field

• Knowledgeable in relevant building codes and regulations

• Experience in planning and designing civil engineering projects

• Knowledge of surveying, site development, and municipal engineering

• Ability to prepare plans, specifications, and estimates

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
