As a Computer Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and evaluating computer hardware components and systems. You should also have a keen eye for detail and excellent problem-solving skills.Your responsibilities include designing and developing computer hardware components, such as processors, motherboards, and memory systems. You will also need to ensure that all components are compatible with each other and meet the required standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for running tests and analyzing results to ensure the hardware meets safety and quality standards. Responsibilities

• As a Computer Hardware Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing and testing computer hardware components and systems to ensure compatibility with existing technologies

• Researching, designing, developing, and testing computer hardware components and systems

• Developing computer system plans and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware and software issues

• Evaluating and testing new and existing hardware components and systems

• Developing and implementing computer hardware maintenance and repair procedures

• Consulting with hardware and software engineers to evaluate and develop computer system designs

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical discipline

• 5+ years of experience in computer hardware and/or software engineering

• Expertise in computer/processor architecture, and experience with embedded systems

• Experience with hardware design, troubleshooting and problem solving

• Knowledge of computer hardware components, such as processors, memories, and I/O devices

• Knowledge of computer operating systems, such as Windows, Linux, and Unix

• Experience with networking hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls

• Experience with electrical engineering principles and concepts

• Experience with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• As a Computer Hardware Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing and prototyping creative solutions to challenging computer hardware problems

• Develop and verify new computer hardware designs, and troubleshoot existing designs

• Implement, validate and debug computer hardware designs, including embedded systems and multicore systems

• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure compatibility between hardware and software components

• Develop and execute tests to ensure product quality and performance

• Analyze system specifications and performance requirements and design appropriate solutions

• Develop documentation and user manuals for computer hardware components

• Research and evaluate new technologies and components to identify potential improvements or cost savings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in hardware engineering with a focus on computer hardware.

• Knowledge of hardware design and development including processors, system-on-chip (SoC) design, memory, and communication interfaces.

• Familiarity with power management and cooling solutions.

• Ability to design, analyze and debug digital and analog electronic circuits.

• Experience in board-level and/or system-level design and implementation.

• Knowledge of system-level software development, such as driver and BIOS development.

• Experience with test automation and verification techniques.

• Knowledge of industry-standard quality assurance processes and tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
