As a Copywriter, you will be responsible for creating persuasive copy and content to engage our audience and promote our products and services. You should have an excellent command of the English language and be able to tailor your writing to any style or tone. Ultimately, you should be able to create compelling and interesting copy that will attract and retain our customers.To be successful in this role, you should have a portfolio of published works and excellent knowledge of blogging, web content writing, and copywriting. You should also be able to work independently, manage your own projects and meet tight deadlines. You will be working closely with our marketing team, so excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• As a Copywriter at Rezi, responsible for creating a variety of copy for various channels, including web, email, ads, and social media

• Translate complex product features and benefits into simple, clear, and engaging copy

• Develop compelling, brand-compliant copy for website, email, print, social media, and other channels

• Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure copy is on-brand, on-strategy, and on-message

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content meets the highest standards for accuracy and consistency

• Conduct research and interviews as needed to ensure accuracy and relevancy of content

• Develop and maintain style guides and content guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels and communications

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in copywriting, specifically for digital channels

• Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to write for a wide range of audiences

• Knowledge of SEO and web optimization strategies

• Ability to adapt writing style and tone to fit target audiences

• Strong research skills and attention to detail

• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and other relevant software

• Write copy that is clear, concise and aligned with the company’s branding and messaging

• Research and understand the target audience for each piece of copy and tailor content accordingly

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure copy is accurate and meets the desired goals

• Track, analyze, and report the performance of copy to identify areas for improvement and increased engagement

• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors’ messaging strategies to ensure content is fresh, relevant, and innovative.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field

• 3+ years of professional writing experience in an advertising, marketing, or communications field

• Strong understanding of the creative process and how to communicate a brand's message through written copy

• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills

• A portfolio that demonstrates successful campaigns and/or concepts

• Ability to work quickly and accurately, while managing multiple projects with tight deadlines

• Ability to take complex topics and explain them in an easy to understand manner

• Ability to create copy that is clear, concise, and on-brand

• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how to optimize copy for search engines
