Cyber Security Engineer
Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join our growing team. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining a secure IT infrastructure for our company. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies and procedures, configuring and troubleshooting security systems, and monitoring and analyzing security events. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining security controls and frameworks, performing vulnerability assessment, and investigating and responding to security incidents. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in scripting, intrusion detection, and a deep knowledge of security protocols. Ultimately, you will ensure the security of our IT infrastructure and protect our data and systems from cyber threats.
Responsibilities
• As a Cyber Security Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining security controls, architecture, and tools in a cloud-based environment
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure the security of the organization’s products and services
• Perform risk assessments, identify gaps and threats, and recommend and implement security measures to mitigate the risks
• Monitor inbound and outbound network activity to detect and prevent malicious activity
• Monitor system logs and user activity to identify suspicious activity and potential security breaches
• Lead security incident response and recovery efforts, including the investigation of security breaches and the development of response and remediation plans.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend security tools and technologies
• Develop and manage security awareness programs for employees and contractors
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in cyber security engineering, inclusive Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of security engineering, computer and network security and cryptography.
• Hands-on experience with security and network assessment tools, such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Nmap, Burp Suite and Metasploit.
• Expertise in the design and implementation of secure network architectures.
• Experience in the design and implementation of security policies, controls and procedures.
• Proven experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
• Knowledge of secure software development best practices.
• Familiarity with cloud security, including AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, you should be able to implement security controls and frameworks, and perform intrusion detection and prevention. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of networking, scripting, and security protocols, as well as excellent problem-solving skills. Ultimately, you will ensure our systems, networks, and applications are secure and compliant with security protocols and best practices.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in Cyber Security engineering
• Proficiency in network and application security technologies, tools and best practices
• Knowledge of security compliance and regulation standards such as ISO27001, NIST, HIPAA and GDPR
• Experience in vulnerability assessments, security audits and penetration testing
• Knowledge of secure coding principles and secure design protocols
• Experience with network and system security architectures, secure coding, encryption and authentication
• Deep understanding of security threats, attack vectors and mitigation strategies
• Experience in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and control frameworks
• Ability to analyze security data, identify security trends and recommend improvements
