We are looking for an experienced Database Developer to join our team. As a Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing databases to support application development, business intelligence and analytics. You should have extensive knowledge of Database Design, SQL and ETL technologies. Your primary focus will be to ensure the performance, reliability, scalability and security of databases that are used for multiple applications within the organization. You should also be able to troubleshoot and resolve database related problems quickly. Additionally, you will be expected to collaborate with other teams to ensure that the application and database design meets business requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• As a Database Developer at Rezi, responsible for developing and maintaining database systems, which are critical for the operation of the business

• Design, implement and deploy database systems, including their data models, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and other database objects

• Analyze, test and troubleshoot database issues and develop solutions to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data

• Optimize existing database systems for improved performance, scalability, and reliability

• Develop and implement data governance processes and best practices for data quality, security and access control

• Monitor and maintain database systems to ensure availability and performance requirements are met

• Collaborate with other teams to ensure data consistency and integrity, and to ensure data quality requirements are met

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a database developer working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.

• Experience with database design, development, and maintenance.

• Proven track record of success in database deployments and performance optimization.

• Experience with ETL tools such as SSIS and data integration techniques.

• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers to query and modify data.

• Knowledge of database performance optimization and indexing techniques.

• Working knowledge of database backup, recovery, and security best practices.

• Familiarity with cloud databases such as Amazon RDS and Microsoft Azure.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
