We are looking for a Database Developer to join our team at Rezi. The Database Developer will be responsible for maintaining and developing databases as well as designing and implementing data models. The successful candidate should have a deep understanding of database design, SQL, ETL, and data modeling principles. The Database Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining databases, designing and implementing data models, creating complex queries, reviewing existing database systems, and developing new solutions to improve the system. Additionally, the Database Developer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving database system errors, designing and implementing data security, and working with stakeholders to ensure data accuracy. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience with database design, SQL, ETL, and data modeling. You should also have excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ultimately, you will ensure our databases are up and running and cover both internal and customer needs.
• As a Database Developer at Rezi, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance databases for a variety of applications
• Develop, maintain, and optimize stored procedures, triggers, tables, views, and functions to ensure data integrity, scalability, and performance
• Work with product owners and stakeholders to identify and document business requirements and develop database solutions
• Design and implement database schemas, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex queries, stored procedures, and performance issues
• Develop custom scripts and stored procedures to automate data-related tasks
• Monitor and optimize database performance, security, and integrity
• Test and validate database changes before deploying to production
• 5+ years of experience with designing, developing, and maintaining databases.
• Experience with designing, developing, and maintaining database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experienced in SQL programming, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with relational database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgres.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Experience with data modeling and data warehousing.
• Experience with ETL and data integration processes.
• Knowledge of best practices and standards for database development.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
