We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Engineer to join our team at Rezi. You will have a passion for creating sustainable solutions and have a deep understanding of geotechnical engineering. As an Environmental Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding and making recommendations on environmental regulations, assessing environmental risks associated with projects, and designing solutions that benefit the environment and the local community. To be successful in this role, you must have a good understanding of environmental awareness and biomimicry, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively. You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex data in an understandable and actionable format. You will also possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to think creatively to develop innovative solutions that are cost-effective and sustainable.

Responsibilities

• As an Environmental Engineer at Rezi, responsible for working with partners across the company to develop projects that reduce the environmental impact of our operations

• Design and implement environmental engineering projects to reduce emissions and waste, and increase efficiency

• Develop and implement environmental regulations and standards that are in compliance with local, state, federal, and international laws

• Manage and conduct environmental impact assessments of proposed projects

• Research and develop new technologies and processes to reduce environmental impact

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and patterns related to environmental issues

• Conduct inspections, sampling, and testing of water, air, and soil to assess the environmental impact of operations

• Develop reports, plans, and recommendations to communicate findings and provide guidance for environmental engineering projects

• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental engineering projects and recommend changes as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering, with a focus on air quality, water quality, and/or hazardous waste management.

• Knowledge and experience with state and federal environmental regulations, including permitting, reporting, and compliance.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing environmental management systems, protocols, and procedures.

• Proven experience in designing and conducting environmental assessments, audits, and investigations.

• Proficient in using environmental engineering software and GIS applications.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• As an Environmental Engineer at Rezi, responsible for leading the development and implementation of environmental strategies, policies and programs

• Conduct research and analysis to identify potential environmental issues and risks and to develop solutions for environmental problems

• Develop and implement environmental monitoring plans, environmental compliance plans, environmental impact assessments and other environmental plans

• Evaluate the environmental impact of proposed projects and develop appropriate mitigation measures

• Monitor the current environmental state of proposed projects and ensure compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations

• Develop and maintain environmental management plans and policies to minimize potential environmental impacts

• Prepare and present technical reports to management on the status of environmental programs and projects

• Develop and implement training programs for employees on environmental regulations, safety procedures and other related topics

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure environmental compliance and safety protocols are being followed

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in environmental engineering, planning, and management

• Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal regulations and requirements

• Proficient in engineering design and analysis software (AutoCAD, GIS, etc.)
