Facilities Engineer
Description
We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team in maintaining and operating our facility systems. The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of facility engineering, including maintenance and operation of systems, such as HVAC and electrical systems. The Facilities Engineer will ensure that all systems are running efficiently and meet safety standards. Additionally, the Facilities Engineer will be responsible for managing projects related to facility upgrades, repairs, and new construction.To be successful in this role, the candidate should have experience in facility management and project management. The ideal candidate should have strong HVAC and electrical system knowledge and experience with energy conservation and sustainability. The Facilities Engineer must be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and remain organized in a fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facility systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
• As a Facilities Engineer at Rezi, responsible for maintaining a safe, functional, and attractive physical environment for employees, customers, and other stakeholders
• Design, install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other related systems
• Monitor, assess, and report on the performance of all facilities systems and equipment, ensure compliance with all applicable regulations
• Manage and execute preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all mechanical and electrical systems
• Manage and coordinate all contractor activities related to facility maintenance and repair
• Monitor energy consumption and develop strategies to reduce consumption and costs
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of materials and equipment
• Monitor building security systems, fire alarm systems, and other safety-related systems
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in facilities engineering, property management, project management or related field.
• Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire/life safety, and building automation systems.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing plans for construction, maintenance and repair of facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and operations manuals.
• Ability to inspect, maintain, and repair equipment and systems.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.

Description
We are looking for an experienced Facilities Engineer to join our team of professionals in Rezi. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, upkeep and repair of all of the company’s facilities. You should have a deep understanding of Facility Management, HVAC and Project Management. You will be responsible for managing the budget for the Facilities Department, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. You will also be responsible for training and supervising any Facilities staff and contractors. Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling regular inspections of the facilities and ensuring they are up to code. Ultimately, you will ensure that all of the company’s facilities are safe, efficient and attractive.
Responsibilities
• As a Facilities Engineer at Rezi, responsible for making sure facilities are properly maintained and operational
• Monitor and test building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire safety
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities
• Design, implement and maintain energy management systems
• Diagnose and repair any facility issues, from electrical to heating and cooling
• Ensure safety standards are met
• Respond to emergency situations, such as floods, power outages, or building fires
• Investigate and resolve complaints regarding building operations and services
• Monitor and manage building security systems
• Perform and document regular facility inspections
• Develop and implement facility policies, such as fire safety, security and visitor access
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a facilities engineering role.
• Demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as HVAC and building automation systems.
• Thorough knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant standards.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of management and staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of construction, renovation, and repair techniques.
• Working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
