Description
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our growing team at Rezi. The Medical Assistant is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the medical office. The ideal candidate must be a team player with excellent communication and organizational skills.The Medical Assistant's responsibilities include performing vital signs measurements, drawing and collecting blood samples, preparing patients for examination, and assisting the physician with procedures. Additionally, the Medical Assistant should be able to maintain accurate patient records and update databases. The Medical Assistant should also be knowledgeable in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and other emergency medical protocols.To be successful as a Medical Assistant, you should be a compassionate individual with excellent communication and organizational skills. You should also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure. A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required for this position.
Responsibilities
• As a Medical Assistant at Rezi, responsible for providing patient care and administrative support in the medical office
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff, including taking and recording vital signs and medical histories
• Assist physicians with patient care and examinations, preparing patients for examination, collecting and preparing laboratory specimens
• Administer medications as directed by a physician, and provide instructions to patients regarding medications and special diets
• Maintain and update patient records, and order and maintain medical supplies
• Answer telephone inquiries, and schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Perform billing and coding procedures and process insurance claims, and coordinate patient referrals and laboratory services
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies, and ensure that medical equipment is in working order
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized medical assistant program
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
• Ability to handle medical instruments and equipment appropriately
• Experience with electronic medical records and practice management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Knowledge of insurance guidelines and billing procedures preferred

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at Rezi. As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing patient care and administrative support to physicians. Your duties will include taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, scheduling appointments, collecting and processing specimens, performing EKGs and administering injections, as well as other treatments as directed by a physician. You should also be able to perform CPR and other emergency medical procedures as needed. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills and be able to provide a compassionate and reassuring presence to patients and their families. You should also be comfortable using computers and have an organized approach to work. Ultimately, you will ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care.

• Provide patient education and counseling on health maintenance, disease prevention and other medical topics
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, medications, laboratory tests and procedures
• Ability to accurately document patient information
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
• Proficiency in computer and office software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a professional and composed manner
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
