Description

We are looking for a highly skilled .NET developer to join our team at Rezi. Your primary responsibility will be to develop software applications using .NET programming solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of the .NET framework and Microsoft development tools, as well as expertise in ASP.NET MVC, HTML/CSS and JavaScript. You should also be adept at using SQL Server and have familiarity with web technologies such as Web Services, REST and Ajax. Your role will involve working closely with other developers, software architects, QA engineers and the product team to design and develop new features, enhance existing applications, and handle bug fixes. Ultimately, you will ensure our applications are up and running and that they meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• As a Net Developer at Rezi, responsible for designing, coding, and testing high quality applications

• Develop software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle

• Design and develop user interfaces to internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests

• Recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives

• Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers

• Troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining web applications using .Net Framework, ASP.Net, and C#

• Experience working with cloud computing platforms such as Azure and AWS

• Experience with web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, and JSON

• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL

• Experience with responsive web design

• Experience with web services and web API development

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug applications

• Good understanding of software design principles and security best practices

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards

• Work with product owners and other stakeholders to understand the business requirements and develop solutions that meet the needs of the business

• Collaborate with the development team to ensure the highest quality software is delivered in a timely manner

• Provide technical guidance to other developers and review code for accuracy and quality

• Troubleshoot and debug applications

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing .Net applications

• Proficiency in C#, .Net, ASP.Net, MVC, and Entity Framework

• Experience with web services and REST APIs

• Experience with databases such as SQL Server and Oracle

• Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and deploy .Net applications

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with development teams

• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX and Bootstrap

• Experience with source control systems such as GIT and SVN

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
