We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our team and help maintain our corporate networks. As Network Engineer, your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and maintaining Rezi's corporate networks, ensuring their performance and security. You will be working closely with other teams to ensure that our data systems are secure, efficient, and up to date. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience with network security, firewall and security, networking design, and cloud computing. You should also have a high degree of technical expertise and be able to troubleshoot complex network problems. Ultimately, you will ensure our networks are running smoothly and securely and that customer data is always secure and private.

Responsibilities

• As a Network Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing, configuring and troubleshooting networks of all sizes

• Design and implement secure, reliable, and cost-effective network solutions to support business objectives

• Develop and maintain network documentation, network topology diagrams and network asset inventories

• Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot and support local and wide area network infrastructure, including routers, switches, wireless access points and firewalls

• Implement and maintain network security solutions and procedures to protect the corporate data and infrastructure

• Configure and manage VPNs, VLANs and other network segmentation methods

• Provide technical support and guidance to other departments and personnel

• Research and recommend new technologies and techniques to enhance the network infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering and architecture

• Deep understanding of routing protocols and their implementations such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, etc.

• Experience with network hardware and software such as routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, etc.

• Expertise in network security and monitoring such as intrusion detection systems, firewalls, security protocols, etc.

• Knowledge of cloud computing and virtualization technologies such as AWS, Azure, VMware, OpenStack, etc.

• Ability to troubleshoot, manage, and optimize network performance

• Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving skills

• Develop and implement network strategies to improve network performance, scalability, and reliability

• Monitor network performance and analyze network traffic to identify potential performance issues

• Analyze and troubleshoot network issues, including system and application-level problems

• Provide technical guidance to junior network engineers and system administrators

• Design and implement secure networks with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security solutions

• Research and evaluate new hardware and software technologies, including security solutions

• Create and maintain detailed network documentation, including diagrams and procedures

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer

• Expertise in networking technologies such as routers, switches, firewalls, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, layer 2 and layer 3 technologies, QoS, VoIP, multicast and WAN optimization

• Hands-on experience in configuration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and monitoring of network devices, systems and services

• In-depth knowledge of network topologies and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, etc.)

• Ability to isolate and resolve complex network issues in a timely manner

• Experience with network security measures such as access control, firewalls, encryption technologies and intrusion detection systems

• Good understanding of cloud technologies and virtualization

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
