Description
We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing process designs that are cost-effective and safe. Process Engineer duties will include carrying out process design calculations and simulations, utilizing industry standards and best practices, performing HAZOPs, producing process flow diagrams and P&IDs, procuring equipment, and developing control strategies. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Chemical Engineering and experience with process simulation, HAZOPs, and process design calculations. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent communication and time management skills. Ultimately, you will ensure our processes are safe, efficient and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
• As a Process Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing and implementing process improvements to optimize and streamline operations
• Analyze current processes and identify areas of improvement, develop and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
• Work with operations and production teams to develop and implement new process flows and operational guidelines
• Develop and manage process documentation such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions and process maps
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gain consensus on process improvement initiatives and ensure successful implementation
• Utilize lean principles and process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma and Kaizen to support process improvement initiatives
• Monitor, analyze and report process performance data, create and deliver process performance reports and presentations to stakeholders
• Monitor and review process changes and analyze their effectiveness, recommend and implement corrective action when necessary
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering in a production environment
• Ability to design, develop, and improve processes and procedures for maximum efficiency and cost savings
• Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures and their application to process engineering
• Experience with process design, process optimization, and process troubleshooting
• Knowledge of process equipment, such as pumps, valves, and piping systems
• Ability to create and interpret technical specifications, drawings, and diagrams
• Proficiency in PLC automation and programming
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Description
We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team at Rezi. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, construction and operation of chemical processes, as well as analyzing and troubleshooting any problems that may arise. To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess a degree in Chemical Engineering, and experience with HAZOP and Process Simulation.The Process Engineer will be responsible for developing process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications. Additionally, they will be responsible for overseeing process safety, and conducting experiments and tests to ensure the efficiency of processes. They should also be able to provide technical assistance to other departments and contractors. The successful candidate will also be able to identify potential risks and take the necessary steps to minimize them. Ultimately, the successful candidate will ensure our processes are efficient, cost-effective and safe.

• Design and implement process improvements that reduce costs, improve customer service and streamline operations
• Analyze existing processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and develop process improvement initiatives
• Develop process metrics and monitor performance to ensure customer satisfaction and product quality
• Utilize process engineering techniques, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, to improve processes and reduce waste
• Create and maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams and standard operating procedures
• Train and coach personnel on new process implementations and best practices
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to ensure best-in-class process design and implementation
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience in process engineering, with a focus on process improvement
• Proven track record in implementation of process improvement initiatives, including Lean/Six Sigma
• Understanding of process design and analysis, including process mapping and flowcharting
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvement solutions
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 9001 and/or ISO 14001
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with process automation tools, such as PLCs, AutoCAD, and Visio
