Description

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day management of projects. You will be responsible for overseeing the planning, development, and execution of projects to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget. To be successful in this role, you should have hands-on experience with project management, AutoCad, and cost estimates. You should also have excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. Ultimately, you will ensure that all projects are completed successfully and within company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• As a Project Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing detailed technical engineering packages to support construction projects

• Prepare engineering design packages including conceptual design, preliminary engineering, detailed engineering, drawings, BOMs and cost estimates

• Develop technical drawings using AutoCAD and Solidworks

• Create and interpret electrical schematics and drawings

• Perform engineering analysis and calculations to develop new designs and select components

• Prepare BOMs and procurement documentation

• Validate system functionality and performance through testing, commissioning, and documentation

• Maintain and update engineering documentation

• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management roles

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field

• Knowledge of project management principles and practices

• Working knowledge of the engineering principles and processes

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently or in a team environment

• Ability to develop, document and implement complex processes

• Ability to identify and understand technical and business requirements

• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

• Excellent organizational and planning skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software

• Design, document and implement processes and procedures for project management

• Liaise with vendors and other external parties to ensure progress and completion of projects

• Identify and resolve conflicts between project stakeholders and team members

• Develop project estimates and budgets, and monitor project budget and expenditures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field

• 5+ years of experience in project engineering in a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and processes

• Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple simultaneous projects

• Experience with CAD and other design software

• Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

• Ability to lead teams and mentor junior engineers

• Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints
