Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team and help ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. The Quality Engineer will be responsible for developing, improving and maintaining quality assurance processes and standards. This includes developing test plans and performing tests, using appropriate tools and techniques, to ensure that products meet all required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have experience in Quality Standards, ISO, and Product Quality. Responsibilities include implementing and monitoring quality assurance processes and procedures, identifying areas of improvement, and analyzing product designs to ensure they meet quality standards. Additionally, you will work closely with the product development team to ensure the team is developing products that are reliable and meet quality standards. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• As a Quality Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing and executing manual and automated tests to ensure the quality of products

• Design and develop test plans and test cases to ensure product quality and performance

• Monitor product performance and analyze test results to identify potential issues and/or improvement opportunities

• Create and maintain automated test scripts to ensure consistent and reliable product quality

• Collaborate with other engineers and product teams to ensure product quality and reliability

• Identify and investigate potential bugs and issues, and provide detailed reports

• Analyze system requirements and design test plans to ensure the product meets all necessary standards

• Develop and maintain tools for monitoring product quality and performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of experience in software quality engineering and assurance

• Experience in test automation and scripting in languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, etc.

• Knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, non-functional, regression, performance, and integration testing

• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, and Zephyr

• Understanding of software development life cycle and software release processes

• Working knowledge of source control systems such as Git, SVN, and TFS

• Experienced in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug software applications and identify root causes of issues

• Proven experience with defect tracking and resolution processes

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Proven experience creating and executing manual and automated tests

• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, etc.

• Experience developing and executing automated tests in a continuous integration/delivery environment

• Solid understanding of quality assurance best practices

• Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, TestRail, etc.

• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex software issues
