We are looking for an experienced Robotics Engineer to join our team at Rezi. The successful candidate should have a passion for problem-solving and enthusiasm for developing innovative solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and programming robotic systems. You should have in-depth understanding of robotics engineering principles and have a strong technical background in programming (Python), solutions design, and artificial intelligence. Your key responsibilities will include developing robotics architecture and design, researching and evaluating potential solutions, developing codes, testing and troubleshooting, and providing technical support. You will also be expected to work closely with both internal and external teams to ensure successful completion of projects.

Responsibilities

• As a Robotics Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing robotics solutions for a variety of applications

• Design, develop, and test robotic systems for use in a variety of environments

• Develop robotic control systems and applications that interact with humans and other robotic systems

• Utilize high-level programming languages to design software for robotic applications

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to design, build, and implement robotic systems

• Design and develop robotic systems that are reliable and safe for operations

• Develop algorithms for robotic systems and analyze data to improve system performance

• Work with external vendors to develop and deploy robotic systems

• Monitor and troubleshoot robotic systems in various environments to ensure optimal performance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field

• 5+ years of professional experience in robotics engineering

• Proven experience designing, building, programming, and testing robots

• Expert in robotic motion control and system integration

• Experience with high level programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, and MATLAB

• Knowledge of robotic platforms, including ROS, Arduino, and Pixhawk

• Knowledge of vision systems, including OpenCV

• Knowledge of robotic navigation and path planning algorithms

• Knowledge of computer vision algorithms

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug robot systems

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• As a Robotics Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing, programming, testing and maintaining robotic systems for various use cases

• Design, develop and deploy robotic systems for a variety of applications such as automation, conveyance, pick and place, sorting and inspection

• Integrate robotic systems with different hardware and software components, such as sensors, vision systems, PLCs, and other controllers

• Develop software for robotic applications, including real-time software, vision software, and other software for controlling robotic systems

• Perform research and development on new robotic systems and applications, as well as conduct feasibility studies for proposed robotic systems

• Perform troubleshooting and debugging of robotic systems, and provide technical support for robotic systems

• Implement safety protocols and procedures for robotic systems, and ensure compliance with safety regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in robotics engineering

• Proven experience in the design and engineering of robotic systems, including the design and implementation of control algorithms, motion planning, and robot programming

• Advanced knowledge in robot kinematics, dynamics, and force control

• Experience in developing software for robotics applications, including ROS, Python, C++

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with a diverse team

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex mechanical, electrical and software issues

• Experience with 3D modeling tools such as Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360 or similar
