Structural Engineer
Description
We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Structural Dynamics, Structural Analysis and Civil Engineering. As a Structural Engineer at Rezi, you will be responsible for designing, analysing and monitoring the progress of structural systems. You will collaborate with architects and other professionals to ensure the structural integrity of the designs meet the requirements of the project. You will be responsible for the calculation and evaluation of loads, stresses, deformations and displacements in the structures. You will also be responsible for the selection of materials, as well as evaluating the various design alternatives and selecting the most suitable option. Ultimately, you will ensure that the structural designs are safe, efficient and cost-effective.
Responsibilities
• As a Structural Engineer at Rezi, responsible for design and analysis of the structural components of a wide range of projects including residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings
• Develop conceptual design options, including structural system selection and layout
• Coordinate with architects, other engineers, and contractors to create a cohesive design and verify construction feasibility
• Utilize computer modeling software to design, analyze, and optimize structural systems
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and drawings for various types of projects
• Prepare technical specifications and construction documents
• Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with all design criteria
• Research and recommend new technologies and methods to improve the design and construction process
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited program
• 5+ years of experience designing and detailing structural systems
• Skilled in the use of software for structural analysis and design (such as RAM Structural System, Autodesk Revit, ETABS, SAP2000, etc.)
• Proficiency in seismic analysis, wind load analysis and foundation design
• Knowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC, AISC, ACI, and ASCE
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other engineers, project managers, and architects
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the US

We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join our team at Rezi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Civil Engineering field and will be responsible for conducting structural analysis, structural design and structural dynamics. You will be expected to work closely with our project managers to identify, develop and coordinate the implementation of structural design plans for our projects. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in Structural Dynamics, Structural Analysis, Civil Engineering and have excellent problem solving, communication and organizational skills. You will be a proactive, self-starter with a passion for building and a desire to learn and develop your career. Responsibilities
• As a Structural Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing design solutions for structural elements of projects in accordance with the company’s standards and contractual obligations
• Analyze the structural behavior of buildings and other structures, including the effects of loads and environmental factors, using advanced computer software
• Design and analyze structural components, including beams, columns, foundations, floor systems, and retaining walls
• Specify building materials, such as steel, concrete, masonry, and lumber, for use in structural applications
• Prepare structural drawings and calculations for review by engineering professionals
• Conduct tests to determine the quality and strength of construction materials
• Monitor the construction process to ensure compliance with engineering specifications
• Investigate existing structures to evaluate the performance and provide solutions for problems
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field
• 8+ years of relevant experience in structural engineering• Professional engineering license (PE)
• Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD, and other related programs
• Experience with seismic retrofitting, structural steel design, reinforced concrete design, and masonry design
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
