We are looking for a hands-on Test Engineer to join our rapidly growing team. The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing, executing and maintaining automated tests, coordinating tests, resolving conflicts, and providing technical direction and guidance to team members.To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of Agile Testing and Automation Testing. You should also be skilled in Conflict Resolution and be able to motivate your team to deliver results on time. You should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders.Ultimately, you will ensure that our products are tested thoroughly and meet our customers’ needs. You will be expected to stay up to date on the latest trends in testing and be an active participant in our Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• As a Test Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing and executing test plans, test cases, and defect reports

• Design, build and maintain automation framework, develop automated tests that validate product functionality and performance

• Analyze test results and provide feedback to product teams and stakeholders

• Work with product and development teams to ensure quality in all aspects of product development and delivery

• Design, develop and execute manual and automated test scenarios, document and track issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product releases

• Monitor and report on test coverage, performance, and scalability of products

• Analyze system requirements, develop and maintain test plans, and create test cases to validate the system against the requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field

• 4+ years of professional experience in testing, developing and debugging software applications

• Experienced in creating automated test scripts and manual test plans

• Experienced in deploying test scripts and verifying results

• Understanding of software development life cycle and experience in developing test strategies

• Ability to define test requirements, develop test plans and test cases, and implement tests

• Knowledgeable in software quality assurance principles and processes

• Experience with defect tracking, test management, and configuration management tools

• Knowledge of test automation frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, and Robotium

• Ability to troubleshoot and debug software applications and systems

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

• Implement and maintain tools to monitor application performance and stability

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software testing and/or quality assurance

• Proficient in test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, etc.)

• Knowledge of bug tracking systems (eg Jira, Bugzilla, etc.)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

• Understanding of software development and testing lifecycle

• Experience with SQL and scripting languages (e.g. JavaScript, Python, etc.)

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban

• Ability to translate technical requirements into test cases, scenarios, and test plans

• Knowledge of web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, AJAX, etc.)

• Experience in developing, executing, and troubleshooting performance and/or load tests
