Responsibilities

• As a Cashier at Google, responsible for providing excellent customer service when processing customer purchases

• Accurately and efficiently process customer purchases using cash registers, credit/debit card machines, and other electronic payment systems

• Greet customers, answer questions, and provide assistance regarding merchandise and store policies

• Ensure that all customers receive courteous and friendly service; resolve customer complaints in a professional manner

• Ensure that all merchandise is accurately priced and properly rung up at the register

• Count and balance all cash transactions at the end of each shift

• Maintain a neat and clean work area and adhere to all safety regulations

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent

• 1+ year of cashier experience in a retail setting

• Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions accurately

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Knowledge of store policies and procedures

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.

• Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
