Controls Engineer
Description
We are looking for an experienced Controls Engineer to join our team at Rezi. You will be responsible for developing, designing and testing innovative control systems for industrial automation projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of control theory and be able to develop and implement control strategies.The successful candidate must have a solid background in HMI programming, MATLAB and Simulink. You must be able to perform system simulations and analyze complex systems. You should also have experience in troubleshooting and debugging control systems.The Controls Engineer will be responsible for developing new algorithms and control strategies, as well as developing, testing, and implementing control systems. Additionally, you will be responsible for documenting test results and providing technical support. You should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. Responsibilities
• As a Controls Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing, analyzing, and programming control systems for a variety of applications.
• Develops and designs automation systems, including user interfaces, HMIs, and machine/process controllers.
• Designs and implements control systems to meet customer’s needs and specifications.
• Develops and programs PLCs and HMIs, including debugging, testing, and troubleshooting of existing and new systems.
• Performs field testing of equipment and systems, including commissioning and start-up.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues with existing control systems.
• Develops and maintains accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
• Works with other departments and personnel to ensure successful project completion and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in the design and implementation of control systems
• Expertise in developing control systems for complex machinery, including PLCs, HMIs, servo and stepper motor systems, and automated material handling systems
• In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems, including AC/DC motors and drives, inverters, servo/stepper motor systems, and machine vision systems
• Familiarity with a variety of control system software, including Rockwell Automation, ABB, Siemens, and Mitsubishi
• Strong understanding of safety systems and safety protocols, and ability to design and implement safety systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug control systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Description
We are looking for a Controls Engineer to join our team and help develop efficient, user-friendly processes. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing control systems and monitoring performance. You will also be responsible for testing and troubleshooting systems, as well as developing new control strategies. To be successful in this role, you should have a working knowledge of HMI programming, MATLAB, Simulink and other related software. Ultimately, you will design and implement control systems to meet customer requirements and ensure efficient operation.
Responsibilities
• As a Controls Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing, testing, and implementing advanced control systems for robotics applications
• Design and implement automation control systems for robotic systems, including vision systems, motion control, and other sophisticated sensing solutions
• Develop process control algorithms, and program PLCs, HMIs, and other automation devices• Create simulations to test and validate control systems
• Develop detailed documentation of the control system architecture and implementation
• Troubleshoot and debug existing control systems and robotic systems
• Monitor and provide recommendations to optimize performance of control systems
• Work with other engineers to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field
• 5+ years of experience in a Controls Engineering role
• Proficient in the design and implementation of control systems, including PLCs, HVAC, and motor systems
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and process control
• Experience with the development of software for embedded systems, PLCs, and motion controllers
• Ability to program, debug, and troubleshoot PLCs, HMI, and control systems
• Knowledge of various communication protocols such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, and others
• Experience with the commissioning and troubleshooting of automated machinery
• Ability to create electrical schematics and system architecture diagrams
• Familiarity with safety protocols and standards (e.g. NFPA70E, CE Mark, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
