We are looking for a talented and experienced Game Developer to join our development team at Rezi. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining new and existing games, as well as designing and coding exciting gameplay experiences. To be successful in this role, you should have excellent programming, animation and creative skills. You will help create and develop immersive and interactive gaming experiences for our customers. You will be in charge of the entire development process, from conception to deployment, and you will be expected to work collaboratively with other members of the team. Your responsibilities will include designing and coding game mechanics, ensuring that all game elements are working correctly, and creating game assets such as characters, levels, and environments. You should also have an eye for detail and be able to identify and resolve bugs quickly. Ultimately, you will help create engaging and enjoyable gaming experiences for our players.

Responsibilities

• As a Game Developer at Rezi, responsible for designing, developing and maintaining game features, content, and systems

• Develop high quality game features, content, and systems in accordance with established game design documents and technical requirements

• Collaborate with other team members to define, design and ship new features

• Design and implement code for game features and systems, optimize code for performance and scalability

• Test and debug game features, content, and systems, and provide feedback on game design documents

• Monitor and maintain live game environments, support live game operations, and respond to player feedback

• Monitor industry trends, evaluate and recommend new technologies, and provide technical guidance to other team members

• Create maintainable, extensible, and reusable code, and document code for future reference

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience developing games, ideally within the mobile space

• Proven track record of shipping multiple titles with strong feedback, ratings, and reviews

• Excellent coding skills in C++, C#, and/or Java, with a deep understanding of the game development process

• Experience working with game engines such as Unity or Unreal

• Ability to rapidly prototype game ideas and create rapid iterations based on feedback

• Knowledge of mobile hardware and performance optimization techniques

• Understanding of game design principles and game balance

• Familiarity with game analytics and user testing

• Ability to collaborate effectively with other developers, designers, and producers to create engaging experiences

• Plan and implement game features and functionality in a timely manner while adhering to the highest quality standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in game development.

• Expert knowledge of Unity, Unreal Engine, and other game development tools and platforms.

• Strong background in game design and mechanics.

• Ability to design and build games from concept to completion.

• Ability to debug and optimize game performance.

• Knowledge of scripting languages such as C#, C++, and Java.

• Good understanding of 3D math and graphics principles.

• Ability to create compelling user experiences with intuitive user interfaces.

• Knowledge of best practices for UI/UX for mobile and web-based games.

• Ability to collaborate with artists, designers, and other developers to deliver a successful product.

• Proven ability to ship products on time and on budget.
