We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Rezi. The ideal candidate is a creative and analytical problem-solver who is passionate about product design and development. The successful candidate will have a deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and experience in product design, data analysis, and statistics. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical components and systems using SOLIDWORKS. You will develop design solutions that are cost-effective, reliable, and meet customer requirements. You will also analyze and interpret data from tests to identify improvements and propose design modifications. Additionally, you will be responsible for researching and staying abreast of new technologies and materials that may be applicable to our products, as well as leading design reviews to ensure design accuracy and compliance with standards. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products are of the highest quality and meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• As a Mechanical Engineer at Rezi, responsible for designing and developing mechanical components, assemblies, and systems for products ranging from consumer electronics to industrial machinery

• Utilize CAD/CAE tools to design 3D models, assemblies, and detailed drawings of components and assemblies

• Perform engineering calculations to validate designs and analyze performance of mechanical systems

• Develop and maintain documentation for designs, test results, and analyses

• Develop test plans to validate design performance and reliability

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches

• Support development and implementation of manufacturing processes and equipment for products

• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues and provide timely technical support for customers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the mechanical engineering field

• Ability to design, analyze, and troubleshoot mechanical systems and components

• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools such as SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, ANSYS, and COMSOL Multiphysics

• Hands-on experience in materials testing, prototyping, and fabrication

• Knowledge of GD&T, material selection, and machining processes

• Familiarity with 3D printing and rapid prototyping technologies

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Develop detailed design models, drawings, and specifications

• Conduct experiments with various materials and components to determine their behavior and performance

• Analyze and interpret data to identify trends and develop solutions

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures

• Provide technical consultation on mechanical engineering problems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design and development

• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks for design and engineering

• Hands-on experience with mechanical components and systems such as pumps, valves, tanks, heat exchangers, piping, and other components

• Ability to create drawings, assemblies, and schematics

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Knowledge of material properties and selection

• Knowledge of machine shop practices and procedures

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
