Description

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to oversee our properties and tenants. You will be responsible for maintaining the physical condition of our properties, supervising staff and managing budgets. You will be the primary point of contact for tenants and ensure their needs are met in a timely manner. To be successful in this role, you should have extensive experience in property management and resident relations. You should also be knowledgeable in real estate and have a good understanding of financial budgets. Ultimately, you will ensure our properties are well-maintained and our tenants are satisfied.

Responsibilities

• As a Property Manager at Rezi, responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of rental properties to ensure maximum occupancy and profitability

• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and safety standards

• Oversee tenant leases and rental agreements, and troubleshoot any disputes or issues

• Inspect properties, identify potential maintenance issues, and schedule necessary repairs or upgrades

• Manage tenant move-in and move-out procedures, including conducting background checks and performing unit showings

• Monitor tenant payments, collect rent, and track delinquent rent accounts

• Develop and implement strategies to maximize rental income and minimize vacancy rates

• Prepare monthly financial reports for property owners, including income and expense statements

• Ensure properties are adequately maintained, responding to tenant requests and needs in a timely manner

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in property management or equivalent.

• Proven ability to manage multiple properties and develop relationships with stakeholders.

• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations pertaining to property management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage and implement budgets, contracts and other financial documents.

• Computer proficiency, including knowledge of relevant software (e.g., MS Office Suite).

• Demonstrated ability to handle tenant inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.

• Ability to conduct property inspections and implement preventative maintenance plans.

• Understanding of landlord-tenant laws and legal compliance requirements.

• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

• Knowledge of local and state laws, regulations and compliance requirements related to property management

• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and tenant relations

• Proficient in the use of property management software

• Ability to maintain a professional and customer service oriented attitude

• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
