You will have the opportunity to design and conduct experiments, analyze data, and troubleshoot problems. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining product documentation, engaging with teams across departments, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Ultimately, you will help us create and deliver innovative products that meet our customers' needs.

Responsibilities

• As a Research and Development Engineer at Rezi, responsible for developing new products, processes, and systems to help solve complex engineering problems

• Design, build and test prototypes of new products and processes to meet customer needs

• Conduct research to identify market trends and customer needs to inform product design

• Analyze customer feedback and industry data to identify opportunities for improvement

• Develop detailed technical specifications and design criteria for products and processes

• Develop prototype systems, components and materials to meet customer needs and requirements

• Develop and document test plans, processes and procedures to ensure product quality and safety

• Monitor product performance and reliability to identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for corrective action

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.

• 5+ years of professional experience in a research and development role.

• Demonstrated experience in technical research and development, including writing technical specifications and developing prototypes.

• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and engineering tools, such as C++, Java, and MATLAB.

• Experience with statistical analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of research and development experience in the software engineering field.

• Proven ability to design and develop prototypes with high accuracy and efficiency.

• Experience with a range of software development languages and frameworks such as Java, Python, C++, React, Angular, etc.

• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and rapidly changing environments.

• Ability to develop innovative solutions and create prototypes quickly.

• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.

• Experience with large-scale software systems and distributed computing.

• Familiarity with cloud computing architectures.

• Familiarity with Machine Learning, AI, and Natural Language Processing technologies.
